A bit too late

The drizzling drops of golden light,
kissed the darkness aside,
Grey in the memory when really it was bright...
A little too late did the dream broke to reality.
The green patch had died, truth was shrugged behind the bitter lie,
In the shackles of time and society
a little too late, the life realised.
Never had been the destination, thus when the deep dark ocean met the shore,
Fierce was it's course,
A little too late it knew the face wrath.
The tearful eyes were looking for a smile, but a little too late did the hungry hands got the morsel to mouth.
Time comes and goes,
Death awaits nothing and none
Youth has its age, the money will be spent,
A lesson learnt, a bit too late.
