Back to time

That lane outside my paradise, was chirpping with the sounds of innocence, There was not a lonely hand, Someone was there to make the sad ones laugh, To keep company to those who were alone. The doors were open and windows beamed with the light of security. There were lies and pranks, but no harm caused, All were friends, who had the time cheat and betray, Always busy to finish what teacher had asked and ready to take over the world with  the bunch of friends. I never had the phone because a shout was enough to summon the entire group out. Who had known the sun will be the same but it would cause a tan when we grow up, Who knew despite having the technology in hand, It will take years to call the best friend. It wasn't easy then, it isn't easy now But the spirit to get across is faded and weak.

A bit too late

The drizzling drops of golden light, kissed the darkness aside, Grey in the memory when really it was bright... A little too late did the dream broke to reality. The green patch had died, truth was shrugged behind the bitter lie, In the shackles of time and society a little too late, the life realised. Never had been the destination, thus when the deep dark ocean met the shore, Fierce was it's course, A little too late it knew the face wrath. The tearful eyes were looking for a smile, but a little too late did the hungry hands got the morsel to mouth. Time comes and goes, Death awaits nothing and none Youth has its age, the money will be spent, A lesson learnt, a bit too late.

Flight of thoughts

Silent and serene...the night Everyday passing day seems same. Yes we all do the routine but yet isn't there a variation, a slight shift, of actions, thoughts, and moments. That is what is unique.. As I almost wrap up my day, I look back and tell myself I did well and so is true of each one of you. I am glad to take a moment out To admire the dark sky which paints a beautiful canvas of clouds and stars, So much more revealing when looked upon. Only asserting that change is the only constant, Embrace it and pat your back. Well it was never meant to be perfect, Or else how will we learn. The beauty fades, the earth moves The deserts turn to water and water dries away. Cherishing through the bits of broken pieces and putting it all togther in the end is sum of it. It is in this imperfection that smile peeps through eyes full of tears, It is this night that holds the promise of tomorrow, It is this breath that hides the key to your happiness.

Rocks..

Magnanimous and meagre are rocks, Mute but gazing for ages the time passing by. Enjoying the sun and burning surfaces, From drowning in waves to causing the havoc, They support the growth of life and also becomes the face of death for some. Not just seasons but they have seen the journey of civilization, Every single one is real and gives some food for imagination. For an artist they are the muse, shades of life, For a homeless, rocks are the roof above the head, they may also be the source of bread. They grow with their pace, Gazing at the some leaves a mark of solace. No race to fight and win. Each one is unique, but also alike. Nothing but simply obeserving the pace of life.

Revival of senses

Looking for some sunshine I stepped out in the glory of nature. Simple and pristine such a joy to be part of immense beauty. The breeze was cold and I felt it brush against my weary existence I closed my eyes and opened them To find myself in the expanse so green and fresh I could smell the greens and hear my heartbeat I could hear the mighty trees rustle and sing with the wind Alone yet accompanied Hearing the birds chirp and flutter their wings Behind me were innocent voices laughing and smiling The metal of the swings clinking The footsteps were so carefree I was living in the world of dreams Ma I missed you, There was my sunshine smiling bright.

Truth that we ignore.

Buried it all while leaving the prints behind The reminiscence of the better side Conspiring to shred every bit of truth, Leading or misleading the youth? They aren't building bridges But creating a world of glitches and hitches She cried for her dying child And they partied like wild. He was looking for his dead parents While they lied about all that was to be transparent. All she sought was education But they lead her to prostitution. Some want to breathe fresh air And smoke chimneys are killing people everywhere. No, it is not going to get easy and good It going to be a dead and cold neighbourhood. Buried it all while leaving the prints behind The reminiscence of the better side

Sense of what I am.

If I were to be a shadow of my past, I'd look at what I'm now , Today is only an image of where I have joined the track to be one of all. Never looked back to what was standing there and laughing at me for stopping me, Head held high I have put myself as an image so unique. Unique, because thats what we are. Created blue prints of how things will be, Ended up understanding thats no one can change the course of winds. Gazing at the dark skies I have made, tracks amongst stars only to be faded at the break of dawn. When there was water beneath my bare foot, I have felt alive. Learning to walk after falls is a strange zeal that never breaks. Not the best but I am.

I saw beauty in thee

I knew you were mine, Taking each step towards you brought me closer to myself Invigorating morning dew was cold, I remember, Still as new as the gleaming moon that was bright as never before. Seemed nothing will ever be so immaculate. The touch of a bud is a promise of birth, A rainbow in every nook. The heat from the fire ball, Mighty and fierce, yet a lifeline. The weary soul dances to the tunes of gurgling and splashing waters. Breeze so tender, is a panacea for my wounds. Brutal yet kind Constant yet changing Departs yet comes back. None can take away my sorrows and my happiness is mine too. I knew you too were mine.

Story

Story of you and I, A tale that no one would talk of. There was no palace, no moon and stars shinning. I was moving gradually, learning to walk past the odds, Odds unseen, breeding every moment in my heart's dark chamber. My feet burnt and bled seeing the death of all that I knew was serene, and pious. Who wrote the script with the burning coal on the skin, Wounds so deep and never to heal. All that I was looking for was coherence in the chords But, the music was dead and rhythm choked Slowly melting candle was ringing in the days of end. I never read my story my friend.
